History records her criminal deeds and those of the Democrat party for all THINKING people to see. Great book! Can't wait to see the movie and pass it on to anyone open-minded enough to listen to reason.

This is the sort of information that our government has manipulated over the years that many people had no clue that it was even occurring. Even after they read D'Souza's book, many continued to deny that it actually happened. For those who took the time to fact-check the information, they soon came to the realization that much of the "real" history that they grew up understanding was in fact, very different. To top it off, the things that they learned about Bill and Hillary Clinton made the hair on the back of their neck stand on end. The Clinton's were very different people than what they were led to believe, in fact, they were criminals that got away with it - more than one time! This information that Dinesh D'Souza put together is alarming. If we want our country to be better place for our future generation, then we must learn not to repeat the mistakes of our past.

Dinesh D'Souza delivers a rat out of the bag in his expose about Hillary Clinton. His book could have been subtitled - Does Hillary know any shame, or 'how to' use the United States government for personal gain. It is also a story of 'how to, lie, cheat, and steal, blame someone else and act as it is the 'normal' way to be a public servant.As the Queen of scandal, Hillary followed a long line of 'Progressive cheats' ( yes those two words belong together). D'Souza does a great job following the 'Progressive cheats' as they try to bring a relabeled form of Fascism to America. Forever after, as more of the truth comes out, the Clintons will not be honored, but shamed by what they've done to this country.

Living through the Clintons you sure nailed our history and how she used it for personal gain! I was a lifelong Democrat w politicians in the family who refused to speak to me again when I voted for Trump and stood up to say I never believed in the party so this year my vote isnt for our family norm its for the man who will save USA and you Dinesh have been a blessing in teaching my children who will vote next election what the Democrats TRULY are about and I never had the courage to stand up to family and say so but I do now... no matter how lonely it may get is worth it!

I really enjoyed this book and just couldn't believe the character of the people mentioned.It is so nice that people who do know what is going on in politics will share it to the public.

The Square and the Tower is the rare book that is a must read, not only for armchair intellectuals like myself, but also for academics, politicians, CEOs and those in any kind of position of responsibility. I say this not because the book is always correct, or even on point, but because several of the ideas emphasized in this book are important enough that they should be considered, debated upon and ultimately deemed useful or falsified by the intelligentsia.Essentially, the core idea in this book is that the role and influence of social networks throughout history has been downplayed by historians because of their reliance on state archives which tend to stress the role of hierarchies. Because of this, the rise in the power of social networks spawned by the computer age is mistakenly thought to be an entirely new phenomenon. In fact, argues Ferguson, the struggle between networks and hierarchies is at least as old as human history.To marshal support for this argument Ferguson begins the book with a summary of network theory. He then retells the story of modernity from this perspective leading up to an ultimate chapter considering the future of human civilization. You certainly cannot say that Ferguson aims too small.There are some unresolved tensions in this narrative. Some of the chapters rely on real applications of network theory while some are more anecdotal. This is because the idea of what is a social network seems to grow more and moreexpansive. Eventually, Ferguson writes that hierarchies themselves are a type of social network. Of course, he is right in a sense, but this tends to blunt the paradigm of a dichotomy between networks and hierarchies. In addition, if every relationship between human beings is a social network then network theory does explain all of human history. But isn’t this basically then a tautology?Ferguson also goes on many tangents. For example, his vociferous arguments that the culture of Islam is a key element of Arab terrorism versus seeing terrorists as fanatics from any religion does not seem to really be central to the book’s themes.Nevertheless, Ferguson has either achieved a landmark accomplishment in the telling of history, with important consequences for our current societies, or he has overstressed the importance of networks in modern history. That is a question for professional historians to decide. To become acquainted with this perspective, to see new technologies and new forms of communication through this lens, is something all persons with some share of responsibility for society should at least consider. And, I might add, the book is fun and insightful reading for armchair intellectuals as well.

“The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles” state Marx and Engels in ‘The Communist Manifesto’. According to Niall Ferguson’s latest book - ‘The Square and the Tower. Networks, Hierarchies and the Struggle for Global Power’ – the history of all hitherto existing society is rather the history of the tension between networks and hierarchies; a fact hitherto largely ignored by historians because networks characteristically “do not leave an orderly paper trail”, although a subsidiary factor is that the study of networks such as the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Rothschild family and the Bilderberg Group has been widely discredited by the ravings of conspiracy theorists.According to Ferguson there have been two periods in which networks empowered by new technology, enabling ideas to spread virally, have been massively disruptive of established hierarchical structures, namely, the late fifteenth century to the end of the eighteenth century, powered by the printing press, and from the 1970s to the present day, powered by the personal computer and the internet.There is obviously much to be said for this point of view. As Ferguson says, “Without Gutenberg, Luther might well have become just another heretic whom the Church burned at the stake, like Jan Hus”, although doesn’t this mean that it would be better to paraphrase Marx and Engels to read that the history of all hitherto existing society is the history of new technologies? There’s also the fact that Luther would almost certainly have burnt at the stake had it not been for the protection which he received from the Saxon princes, Frederick the Wise (1483-1525) and his brother John the Constant (1468-1532). Ferguson does not mention this fact, although he does refer to the crucial role of the princes of the Schmalkaldic League (formed in 1531) in consolidating Protestant gains. As German princes can obviously be taken both to embody hierarchy within their realms and to constitute a network when they form a league, this suggests another problem with Ferguson’s thesis, namely, that whereas towers and squares are clearly sharply delineated the concepts they symbolise for Ferguson are often anything but.This is not to say that ‘The Square and the Tower’ is a bad book. On the contrary, like anything written by Ferguson it is brimming with bright ideas expressed with great flair. Ferguson - like David Cannadine - is living proof that it is possible to write prolifically, persuasively and profoundly for a popular audience. But whilst this book provides many insights and makes one consider the past in a new light I do not think its prism is sufficiently luminous to win many long-term converts.

His books always provide a logical and informative parade of ideas and characters - they require reading with focus to secure all the ideas on hand.I found that I would sit back after every 10 pages or so and ask myself how can I apply the idea just presented or where have I seen it happen - this is a book that demands you take the time and devote the mind energy to read it, it is well worth it.

It started off strong with a basic description of network theory; however, about three quarters into the book, the writing seems to be a bit meandering. The author takes a historical look at networks and hierarchies from the far past up to the present. I didn't think the book flowed very well and it seems that the author was trying to make the same point over and over with various examples. Toward the final chapters the writing seems to be more political opinion. One chapter talks about the rise of Islamic extremism but I really wasn't sure where he was going with that. I had assumed he was going to delve more into the networks and hierarchies of religious groups and religious zealotry. He didn't. It read more like an opinion piece. Overall, I believe the book was longer than it needed to be and I bet someone can write a book book on how networks where a major determinant of world history.

This book has the potential to be good, but it really didn't meet my expectations as a book about relationships through the lens of the Enneagram. Suzanne goes through each of the nine types, much like she and Ian did in The Road Back To You, but now the focus seems to be specifically on trouble spots in relationships for the nine types. Each chapter tells a story of how someone unintentionally hurt the ones they love with their own vices or excesses unique to their type. Of course, this type of information can be good and helpful if you're prepared for the fact that it can be, at times, painful to read. But when you're sold a book on relationships, it feels like a shortcut around writing a much longer and more detailed book specifically about the interplay between the types.Bottom line: if you finished The Road Back To You and want to learn more about the ugly side of each of the types, this book is for you. But if you're looking for the interplay between a 4 and a 9, or a 7 and a 2, etc, you'll be disappointed by the lack of content.

Suzanne Stabile is a Master Teacher of the Enneagram, having studied and taught it for many years in a variety of settings and contexts. This accessible book provides a map to healthier and more fulfilling relationships through the lens of the Enneagram. Having some basic knowledge of the Enneagram prior to reading this book would be helpful (I would suggest "The Road Back to You" co-authored with Ian Cron).At the end of each chapter, Stabile has two summary pages: Relationships for Type Numbers and Relationships with Type Numbers. From Tip to Tail is well worth the price. It is clear, consice, and thourough. I think the author urges far more tools than necessary (e.g. any straight edge including a scraper works well as a true bar), but also covers a couple things that Masia's book doesn't (e.g. riffler). I think this and Masia's book complement each other and are both worth having. They have slightly different approaches. Tip to Tail gets into a thing or two that are hardly practical for a home ski tuner (e.g. patterned structuring), but that is hardly a criticism. De-tuning is better learned from Masia. Tip to Tail on the other hand points out that different snow calls for different structure. It also considers why flat, or bevelled, or square, is not always best depending on conditions. This is a quick read that will quckly get you tuning your own skis with confidence. If the only thing you pick up from this book is how to do your own hot wax, it will pay for itself with just one waxing (even with the purchase of an old iron and some wax).

Very helpful book for basic ski tuning.

After reading this book and following its direction, I am able to tune my whole family's skis to a high precision. Three of my children race and their performances have clearly improved. Now they really notice when their skis are out of tune. Mr. Rader does an excellent job of describing every step involved in tuning/waxing skis - Great book!

I'm using this as one of the books in my self-made homeschooling curriculum for my son, along with Scholastic and BrainQuest. He had some math and English gaps after moving to the US from a different country. Namely, he hadn't learned multiplication yet.I find this book very thorough and good practice for the skills I am teaching. It requires more writing than the other two workbooks, which is good for improving composition. It's colorful and more engaging than the mainstream public school curriculum we began with. Some of the assignments are more project-like than the practice workbook I expected. These may be helpful for our homeschooling purposes. Science or Social Studies are incorporated into half of the Reading Comprehension section.I have only a few complaints:- They use "not sentence" instead of "fragment".- They use "statement, question, command, and exclamation" instead of "declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory".Overall, I recommend it.

We've had this series since my 19 year old was homeschooled. Now he's an honors student on the chancelor's list in college, and he has moderate Autism. I raised my 17 year old daughter on this series too, and she also has Autism. She is also doing well! Getting ready for her diploma! How's that for a good base book? :) I should get something for THAT review! LOL.... UNPAID HONEST REVIEW HERE!!!!! REWARD ME PLEASE! LOL! Anyway, I buy two, because I have twins, and I like for them to write in the books.

This is my 1st year homeschooling and im using this book to help. So far it has been great!My son works on 10 pages a day and he comes to us when he doesn't understand something. So far though i have been pleased with its lessons and such.Definitely great for new homeschoolers that can't afford those expensive curriculum books yet.Overall a nice book for our lessons.

We use this as our "physical" homeschool curriculum, as most of our work is done with an online program. I wanted something that I could use to present samples of my children's work, if I should ever need to. This covers all of the necessary base curriculum for math and language arts. We do our online work, then follow up with any corresponding lessons in the book. Perfect for what we needed it for.

I love having many subjects in one book, because that makes it easy to travel. My favorite thing so far: the comma lesson. I use the Oxford comma (as any sane person who wishes to avoid total chaos in the universe should do). The comma lesson teaches that both commas are correct, as opposed to ignoring the existence of the Oxford comma. I know I'm a nerd.

We got these workbooks to work with our boys during the summer instead of allowing them to veg the entire time. They absolutely love them and ask to do them daily. It's something that is fun for them but still educational. What more could you want!!

Was very happy with this product over the summer to keep my son up to date and ahead of his 4th grade class. It has helped greatly and found that it easily explained how to solve the problems in the book. My son was ahead when his class went to 2 digit multiplication and division! Couldn't express the happiness knowing that it didn't have common core in it either! :) It's just like when I went to school on the solving!
