I bought this book because I thought the beginning was hilarious. Just about any adult could relate to a tale of too much drink, the change it makes on personality, and the morning after regret. And it was presented with self-deprecating humor. But then the humor quickly becomes juvenile and mean-spirited. Max's idea of fun is getting drunk with his equally shallow friends, getting into bar fights, and objectifying/demeaning women in the process.Ugh. Just a little of that kind of joking from this immature, egotistical, man-child goes a long way. Couldn't finish it. Didn't want to. Glad I got it on a Kindle promo, but regret buying it nonetheless.

Tucker Max, of "Assholes Finish First" has a hilarious, crude, and offensive lifestyle, but that's what makes Tucker...well, Tucker. The stories he tells are reminiscent of my wilder college days, but on crack and complete loss of inhibition. If you want to be in a constant fit of tears and laughter while reading a book, this book is for you.WARNING: This book is not for the sensitive prude, if you are easily offended by vivid sexual descriptions, alcohol abuse, bodily fluids, drugs and complete mismanagement of all those I listed; this book is not for you.

I read this book as a recommendation from a friend and thought it was pretty hilarious. I did find myself skimming at times to get through some of the boring stuff and find the entertaining parts of the stories. This guy is vulgar and explicit and that's exactly what I expected when picking this book up. Don't read this if you're going to get all offended over how he talks about women (he's very degrading!) or how he discusses his sexual and drunken experiences in vivid detail. I'm a woman and took it for what it was - true stories written by a guy who considers himself to be a jerk.

Tucker Max is candid, funny, and completely without hypocrisy as he recounts his escapades dragging out of bars girls approximately as drunk as he is.He reminds me of Hunter Thompson, who became a disappointment as he degenerated from being a real journalist. Teenage boys were swept along reading him because he talked such entertaining trash about his dissolute lifestyle - alcohol, the many drugs of the 1970s, playing with guns. That increasingly became the focus of his writing. He maintained the pretense of being a political journalist, railing about Nixon and fascism to keep that up, while spending Rolling Stone’s money like a drunken sailor. He spent less and less time observing anything or interviewing anyone, and as such had less and less to say.Max doesn’t care about politics and actually sustains writing about being a degenerate better than Thompson did. I compare the two because Thompson’s most popular book was “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” Max has a chapter here about a debauch in Vegas, which reminded me of that. Like Thompson, Max is from Kentucky, with a similar good ole boy touch in his writing.Max is upfront that he’s writing solely about drinking, chasing women, and getting into the kind of trouble the young get into, trouble they’ll recall fondly as codgers sitting by the fire. He knows he’s an a-hole, he’s shameless about it, and he regularly reminds you of it in case you were about to forget it.Max has a great sense of humor and written delivery. Watching him and his fellow law students - Slingblade, El Bingeroso, PWJ, Hate, Credit and company - get trashed and search for easy women is endlessly entertaining.They don’t have to search very hard. Welcome to Hookup Culture, where the girls are as drunk and trashy as the boys. The more Max needles or insults girls, the likelier they seem to sleep with him. Go figure.Max is irrepressibly optimistic about his ability to pick up women. It is important to observe, in the Age of Weinstein, that the sexual landscape Max depicts is diametrically opposed to the one consisting of scary traumas inflicted on fragile snowflakes by big bad horndogs who LOOK at their BREASTS.Here, we see an hordes of young women hanging out in bars with their girlfriends, engaging in the badinage and banter Max excels at, getting as ridiculously drunk as he does, finding him more and more entertaining as he insults them more and more, and all with the goal of getting laid. Definitely not a book for the light hearted, but if you are in your early 20's or can remember your early 20's and those years were filled with partying and stupid misadventures that you reflect fondly upon or are currently in the midst of - this book might be for you. Take note ladies, this guy is a misogynist pig, the things he does to women will disgust you, but then again - there are some laugh out loud, tears running down your face moments that make the read worth it.

I have a friend that said these books were awesome. I finally bought it since he kept talking it up. Its basically a "bro" to put it nicely. Sharing stories. I don't understand how this book won my friend over. I could see it appealing for young guys in their youth who have not had a chance to make their own life stories. But I did not enjoy this book whatsoever. I read better stories on reddit under r/askreddit.

This book has great pictures and descriptions. Very good basic pilates exercises that are easy to do correctly and really helpful to do with a foam roller. I use a pretty hard roller and like it.

It has nice pages with great pictures that you can easily understand with nice descriptions. In the back, there is a smaller verion of all exercises. I take this to the gym so I know what to do.

Great directions on how to perform the exercises. I have instructed a Pilates class for 12 years. Using the foam roller adds a whole new demension to the class. Recommend to Pilates instructers.

I bought it as a Christmas present for my daughter and she loved it. The quality of the drawings are up to par and the colors are bold and true. The quality of the paper is what let me down, we had to add tape to the perforation where it hangs because the sheer weight of the calendar rips the paper. All in all if you like Naruto stuff, its great.

I see you Ms. Brown! You are leathal with that Pen game. You have definitely taken it to a whole lot of levels. Did Trouble really call Sutton all kinds of names and then turn around and get on one knee and propose to her? Wow! I can’t believe the depths these chicks would go through for men. That Piper have to be on drugs for her to act like such a simpleton. Did she forget what Menz did to her on the side of the Barn! And Sutton came to her rescue. I hope AD come to grips with his past so he can be loved and live a normal live. I hope Sutton and Kahleno get back together and take care of all whom harmed them. Please! Please! Please! Don’t make us wait for the last installment!!!!

This was a good read but s lot of it was filler! Interesting filler but still just fluff to make this a tree book series! I really Iike this author but this is dragging unnecessarily! should have been two books!

Nikki, when can we expect the next book? Sis, you're writing the heck out of this series. The twist and turns coming from each direction has me clinching my chest. The anticipation for the next book has me needing a bottle of wine.

Nikki Brown was the first urban fiction writer I read and after reading that first book I was hooked. Mainly because she made me laugh cause her characters were so extra especially early on & her books were fun, paced well & full of drama & heart. Her works as of late haven’t been as fun & entertaining as her intial releases but she’s still one of my faves & an automatic read.Thus far this series is ok, it’s not bad at all. However it’s nothing groundbreaking either & if I’m going to be truly honest it’s pretty predictable but even still it’s been a cool read.My main issue is the chaotic head hopping. I don’t know who’s talking because she’s switching from one point-of-view to the next every paragraph (i.e. head hopping 😜). It’s so confusing because one minute Kahleno’s talking & we’re in his head & the next paragraph the point-of-view switches to Sutton in her head. You’re constantly rereading stuff to figure whose talking & whose POV you’re supposed to be taking in. Then there’s instances when she had 2 different people speaking in the same paragraph & even the same sentence. Then characters were switching names in error which was really too much because it’s a ton of characters in the book that you’re already trying to keep up w/who’s who. Mega kept being referred to as Hudson.🤦🏾‍♀️ I was confused as hell.Editing matters. Grammar matters. Structure matters. When you don’t have these things it makes it hard for the reader to remain in the story therefore devaluing the experience & the work.

This series just keeps getting better, I love these characters! I loved that we got more of the rest of the gang, it added to the entertainment, and it did not disappoint. Woo that ending, I wonder how the boys will feel, how will that affect the relationship with their parents. I know AD is going through stuff but he selfish as hell thinking he the only one going through issues. I hope he and ice both talk about their past. I can't wait to read more about Cassidy and key, the chemistry was def at the showing. The kids just crack me up. Oh kahleno, you know sutton don't play, how could you? I hope they're okay and come back stronger. Omg piper just out here pissing me off, she needs to wake the hell up. Still some editing issues, some mistaking of names and misuse of words but the book flowed. Anxiously waiting to see how things play out, good read.

Picked up right where the last installment left off with drama and more drama. Still enjoying the storyline and these characters. This series is getting better and better and I still want more. This book is full of secrets, lies, jealousy with plenty of twist and turns that made it a great read. I can't wait for Trouble, Menz and Senior to get exactly what they deserve. Piper is going to learn the hard way. Karson, is desperate and delusional. Loving the chemistry between Cassidy and Key and can't wait to read more about them. Poor AD is really going through all kinds of emotions and he needs to talk with someone.....and before he pushes Icelynn away. I love Sutton and Kahleno together and hopefully, they'll work everything out. That ending definitely had my mouth wide open....can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Job well done Nikki Brown.
